Different Sizes

Hiya everyone
Hope that all is ok and i went shopping the other day to Buy myself a few things , First was a dress that ive been wanting for along time but the size was only a 12 , Sadly it didnt fit me so took it back today and bought a new Mini Skirt .
Also today i purchased a Black Mini Dress by Quiz and it fit's me perfect , its amazing that 2 different dresses at the same size 12 are different .
That's probs why i don't own many dresses . I was wanting a coat from New Look tall range and was going to buy a size 18 from the online store , But yesterday i seen the same coat in a Size 12 and it fitted me so glad i didnt buy the 18 lol ....
Ive never asked yet to try clothes on in the shops yet , so i just took the chance .

Mini skirts
You seem to be a fan of the mini-skirt Sally! I have a red wool mini skirt with large black buttons and a denim and cord mini skirt both in a size 14 and both from Next. They're virtually unworn. I shall bring them along to the meeting and if you like them you are welcome to them. Ax

Pick a size!
Clothes sizes do seem to vary between different shops; and also the cut of the dress can affect what fits even in the same shop. And my experience is that will change as your body shape changes due to the effect of cross-gender hormones. When I first started to transition I was a 14 top and bottom. Now I am a 16 on top generally and still a 14 on bottom - even though my booty fits them so much better :) Coats and jackets used to be 16 now they're 18. I now have a few shops that are pretty much all I use - New Look, Dorothy Perkins and Next - and I'm familiar with how their clothes fit eg Next are not generous in sizing so I tend to go a size up. I'm sure you will find what shops and sizes fit you comfortably over time. Ax

When I started on hormones , Idid not realise how my bodysize would
change you're not aware as it happens but it happens, not apparently
great changes but enough to have to buy new clothes now and again
because of it.

Very true, my body shape has changed lots. Lately I have been piling on the weight due to the HRT too! Oh well, it all adds to the curves. Ax
