A transsexual burglar has been spared jail by a judge who took pity on her.
Thea Cox - born Timothy - broke into a string of student digs stealing food and women's clothes.
Cox, 54, who had a sex change in 1983, was serving a suspended sentence for possession of an offensive weapon at the time of the six raids in Exeter and faced a prison term.
But a judge at Exeter crown court said Cox had had "a rotten life" and to jail her would be "unjust", so said she was free to go.

Trans burglar
The nature of the crimes whether transi or otherwise would suggest a
prison sentence would have been more appropriate, most people can be
said to have had a rottenlife, I am down on my luck and because of that,
does it mean I can rob as well.?????
Unjust?
